 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Everton chairman Bill Kenwright dies aged 78


Everton football club of England,  chairman and majority shareholder, Bill Kenwright has died at the age of 78.


In a statement on the club's website on Tuesday, October 24,  the club confirmed it was mourning the death of its long-term chairman, who it confirmed passed away on Monday evening.


"The club has lost a chairman, a leader, a friend, and an inspiration," the statement added.


 "The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Everton are with his partner Jenny Seagrove, his daughter Lucy Kenwright, grandchildren and everybody who knew and loved him."


Kenwright first joined the board at Everton in 1989 and became deputy chairman a decade later after buying a majority share in the club.


He had been chairman of Everton for almost 20 years.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
