 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. First class student dies in car accident weeks after burying father

young Nigerian student with First Class honours identified as Chidera John tragically loses her life in an accident just a month after her father’s funeral.

Chidera had recently achieved an academic milestone by graduating with first-class honours in Biochemistry a week after the burial of her father.

Reports indicate that Chidera, 22 years old student, passed away on October 14th. Regrettably, her promising life was cut short when she was involved in an accident on October 14, 2023.

A colleague, Jerry Godsent who made the announcement via Facebook lamented the pain of losing such a brilliant student and friend.

He further shared snapshots of Chidera celebrating her First Class honours on Facebook barely two weeks before the accident that claimed her life.

My Chidera John buried her father on 21 September 2023
Graduated with first class honours in Biochemistry on the 30th of September 2023.
Had an accident and died on the 14th of October 2023.
Late Miss Chidera John from Abia State happens to be the only child.
