 OCHA Brigade Arrests 13 people Over Illegal Kaolin Excavation In Ozubulu, Ukpor Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra (OCHA) Brigade has arrested 13 suspects in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area, and Ukpor, Nnewi South Local Government Area, over illegal kaolin excavation and activities linked to severe environmental degradation in Anambra State. The arrests followed a targeted enforcement operation at identified excavation sites where indiscriminate removal of soil had been taking place, and the affected locations were immediately sealed to halt further damage and prevent the expansion of erosion-prone areas. Illegal excavation has been identified as a major driver of erosion in Anambra State, weakening soil structure, destroying farmlands, and exposing communities to flooding and gully erosion. Food Security: Shettima arrives US to participate in AfDB event

Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived the United States of America (USA) to participate in the AfDB World Food Prize-facilitated Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue slated for Iowa.
This was revealed in a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, on Sunday.
As the special guest, the Vice President is due to deliver the keynote address at the event which commences on October 24th, 2023. In the itinerary of the Vice President while in the US are high stake meetings across some states of the US with manufacturers, investors and top government officials.
On the Norman E. Borlaug International Dialogue, VP Shettima as stated earlier, will be joining the late former United Nations Secretary-General and AGRA founder, Kofi Annan; World Food Prize Laureates; Ghana President, John Kufuor and AfDB President, Akinwunmi Adesina; former President Olusegun Obasanjo; Presidents Felix Tshishiked and Joaquim Chissano; Joyce Banda; Ameenah Gurib – Fakim and IFAD President, Kanayo Nwanze, as distinguished African leaders who in the past have used the event to canvas support for agricultural development and food sufficiency in Africa.
The Vice President will use the platform to speak to the potentialities and endowments of Nigeria’s agricultural sector, woo investors and push for commitments in achieving President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s mandates and programmes for Nigeria’s agro-food sector.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
