 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  Heartbroken lady reveals how her mother forced her husband to marry her sister instead of her.


A heartbroken Nigerian lady has taken to Tiktok to narrate the betrayal from her mother who forced her husband to marry her sister.


According to her, the wedding was set for the next day and she had spoken to her husband, even discussing their dance steps for the ceremony.


However, on getting to the hall, all guests were present as well as her in-laws, except her mother, sister and husband.


She tried reaching them without any success and unfortunately the wedding was canceled due to their absence.


Two years later, she received a call from her mother who begged for her forgiveness, explaining how her husband had gotten her sister pregnant.


Her mother said she insisted on the husband marrying the sister since the lady’s heart was stronger and she would move on from the hurt easily.


Her mother also confirmed that the husband and the sister were now happily married with a boy outside the country.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
