 NOTIFICATION OF CONVICTION A Federal High Court sitting in Calabar, Cross River State, presided over by Hon. Justice L. I. Ojukwu, has convicted Etteokon Ntuen (55, male) for harbouring a 15-year-old girl for the purpose of sexual exploitation by means of deception. The convict was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment with an additional ₦300,000 compensation to the victim and a written apology. The convict deceived the victim’s parents under the pretext of taking her to Lagos for schooling but instead harboured her in Calabar for exploitation. The offence is contrary to Section 13(2)(b) of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act, 2015.

 Hon Minister of State, Senior Police Officers Attend 130th IACP Convention in San Diego


At the opening ceremony of the 130th Annual Convention and Expo, held at the San Diego Convention Centre, San Diego, Califonia, USA today 14th Oct, 2023, with the Hon Minister of State, Police Affairs, Hajia Imman Sulaiman-Ibrahim, DIG DFI, Habu Sani, CP Stanley Udeh, Desk officer IACP, DC Ops Oyo, Akin Adejobi, and other senior officers from Nigeria. The Convention will host more than 16,000 participants, who are Police officers and law enforcement agents across the world. The Nigeria Police Force has a very large number of officers as members of the association. The Convention will last till 17th Oct, 2023, with the elections of top IACP officials, which come up on Monday 16th Oct, 2023 after the General Assembly. We will be updating as events unfold.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
