 El-Rufai denies comments on 2027 presidency, describes claim as fake The former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has dismissed as false a viral claim alleging that he stated which region of the country should produce the President in 2027. Reports making the rounds on social media claimed that the African Democratic Congress chieftain stated that it is the turn of the South to produce the president in 2027. The reports also suggested that El-Rufai may be backing the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, instead of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. In a statement issued on Monday via his official X handle, El-Rufai described the trending report as “untrue” despite its wide circulation. I love your success story, Davido congratulates Ilebaye

Afrobeat singer Davido has expressed admiration for winner of the All-Stars BBNaija season Ilebaye.
Ilebaye, a 22-year-old model from Kogi, won the N120 million grand prize in the Big Brother Naija All-Stars edition on Sunday night, surpassing five other finalists.
She secured 30.8% of the total votes, outperforming her closest rival, Mercy Eke, who received 23.48%.
Ilebaye’s victory surprised many, considering that she had been evicted after just three weeks during her season, “Level Up,” in 2022 and was viewed as the underdog in the All-Stars season. 
In celebration of the self-styled “Gen Z Baddie,” Davido took to his social media platform and wrote, “Ilebaye… I love a success story!”
Ilebaye responded in the comments section, saying, “Thank you OBO.”
