The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. A young African lady’s elaborate scheme to deceive her boyfriend by faking a pregnancy for 9 months has been exposed.

The lady’s cunning plan unraveled when she visited a hospital, pretending to be in labor, only for medical staff to discover her ruse – she had used clothes to simulate a baby bump.

The lady’s boyfriend, unsuspecting of the deception, accompanied her to the hospital, believing that he was about to witness the birth of their child.

It was during their hospital visit that the truth emerged, revealing a web of lies and deceit that extended over nearly a year.

Reports suggest that the lady had managed to extract substantial sum of money from her boyfriend, totaling in the millions, under the guise that the funds were necessary for medical bills and other essentials related to the pregnancy.

However, her audacious plan was laid bare when the medical staff became suspicious during the hospital visit.

A viral video of the incident captures the dramatic moment when the woman was confronted by the midwives, who had discovered her elaborate ploy.

In the video, the lady can be seen on all fours while the makeshift baby bump, constructed with rags and clothes, is spread out on the hospital bed.

The midwives are heard interrogating her, exposing the deception that had been perpetrated.

Meanwhile, the unsuspecting boyfriend remained outside, eagerly awaiting the arrival of his supposed newborn baby, unaware that he had been the victim of a calculated scam by his girlfriend.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
