 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY COMMENDS
LAGOS STATE POLICE COMMAND

The Honorable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa has, on behalf of the Lagos State House of Assembly, commended the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa and the entire Command for the Command’s manifestation of ‘competence, zeal, commitment and dedication to service.’

The speaker hinged the commendation on the recent arrest of the suspected killers of Mr Sani Olaniyi, a senior aide to Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, who was murdered by a notorious gang of armed robbers on Saturday, August 5, 2023, amongst other recent achievements.

Rt. Hon. Obasa who conveyed his commendation in a letter signed by the Clerk of the House, O.B Onafeko, further expressed his confidence in the Lagos State Police Command, under the leadership of CP Owohunwa, to continue to ‘discharge its duties creditably well.’

CP Owohunwa, while appreciating the vote of confidence reposed in him, notes that the commendation has no doubt reinvigorated the morale of officers and men of the Command. The CP equally assures the Speaker, entire House and Lagosians in general of the unwavering commitment of the Command under his watch towards ensuring the safety and security of all residents and visitors to Lagos State, on a sustainable basis.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
