 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Mr Ibu’s health critical, rushed in for two surgeries following body decay.

The health condition of the ailing Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu is reported to have become critical due to the decay of some parts of his body.

Controversial commentator, VeryDarkMan gave the update from his recent visit to the actor’s hospital while soliciting funds for his healthcare.

According to the VeryDarkMan, Mr Ibu has a condition causing a blood clot in his leg, which has resulted in the decay of some parts of his body. He revealed that the veteran actor has been prepped for two surgeries as of Monday morning as his condition worsened.

He further recommended the option of flying Mr Ibu abroad for advanced medical care as his life currently hangs in the balance.

“Mr ibu condition has moved from bad to worst, at this point only God knows his fate, I will be rushed in for 2 surgeries this morning,”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
