 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. Pray to God to reveal Tinubu’s genuine certificate – Shehu Sani to Supreme Court judges

Former lawmaker Shehu Sani has told the judges of the Supreme Court to fast and pray to seek the face of God concerning the conflicting nature of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s certificate.

The apex court said on Monday that there are conflicting letters from Chicago State University (CSU) on Tinubu’s certificate.

Justice John Okoro, chairman of the seven-member panel hearing the application Atiku Abubakar filed against the victory of President Bola Tinubu, stated this on Monday.

Speaking at the hearing on Monday, Justice Okoro said criminal matters have to be proved beyond reasonable doubt.

“But in this case, there are two conflicting letters from the CSU—one authenticating the president’s certificate and another discrediting it. Which do we rely on?” he asked.

Reacting to this, Sani, who served as the Senator representing Kaduna Central at the Red Chamber, said the situation calls for spiritual attention.

“If the Supreme Court received two conflicting letters from Chicago, the best thing for them is to go into fasting for three days; on the third day, God will show them the genuine one in a dream. We are a prayerful nation,” he wrote on X.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
