 Terry Crews’ Wife Rebecca Reveals Parkinson’s Battle 11 Years After Diagnosis: ‘Seeing Improvement’ Terry Crews and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, have opened up about a deeply personal health journey that the family has been quietly navigating for more than a decade. During Monday’s episode of the Today show, Rebecca, 60, revealed that she has been living with Parkinson’s since receiving her diagnosis in 2015, though the first warning signs appeared years earlier. Looking back, she said it all began around 2012 with a slight numbness in her left foot. Rivers govt denies sack of Chief Judge, suspension of LG chairmen

The Rivers State Government has dismissed reports that it has sacked the Chief Judge, CJ, of the state, Justice Simeon Amadi, and suspended the chairmen of the 23 Local Government Areas in the state.

Following the crisis between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and some members of the State Assembly, there were reports that the government has sacked the CJ and the LG chairmen.

The state Commissioner for Information and Communication, Joe Johnson in a statement on Tuesday, clarified that the governor has not given such a directive.

The commissioner further appealed to Rivers people and the general public to ignore the reports.

Johnson assured that the public will be properly informed of persons who may be dismissed at the appropriate time.

He reiterated the governor’s will to work according to the laid down rules and with the fear of God.

The statement said, “There had been unfounded reports making the rounds on various media platforms about His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, sacking certain categories of his aides and local council chairmen.

“This is to clarify that His Excellency has not given me such a directive as the official spokesman of the state government as of today, Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

“Our dear governor is a technocrat, with a robust civil service background, kind-hearted and a very humane person who does things according to laid down rules and with the fear of God.

“We therefore ask Rivers people and the general public to jettison such unconfirmed reports as the public will be properly informed of who may have been removed by His Excellency at the appropriate time.

“It is pertinent to note that as the Commissioner for Information and Communication, I shall keep the public updated on events in due course.”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
