 PRESS RELEASE  FG TO PRIORITIZE  RESOURCE ALLOCATION IN THE FACE OF LOW OIL PRICES The Federal Government of Nigeria will pursue diversification of its revenues and adopt greater prudent resource allocation measures to mitigate the impact of low oil prices should it continue, according to Mr. Wale Edun, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy. Speaking at a meeting with investors during the ongoing IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington DC yesterday, Mr Wale Edun emphasized that with the recent reforms embarked upon by the present administration, Nigeria is better positioned to deal with global economic uncertainties. She’s best friend I’ve ever had – Will Smith says he’ll continue to support Jada Pinkett

American actor Will Smith has said he would continue to support his wife, Jada Pinkett, for “the rest of my life” despite the talk show host’s recent revelation that she and her husband have been separated for seven years.

Pinkett disclosed in a clip from her forthcoming NBC News primetime special with Hoda Kotb that she and her husband have been living separately since 2016.
However, speaking at a press briefing, Will said Jada is “the best friend I have ever had on this planet”, stressing that he would continue to support her.
He described their marriage as a “slappy public experiment in unconditional love.”
“Our union is a slappy public experiment in unconditional love. Can you love somebody forever, no matter what? Can you love somebody for the rest of your life even when you don’t remember them?
“Jada is the best friend I have ever had on this planet and I will support her for the rest of my life,” AfroNews quoted Will Smith as saying.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
