 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. She’s best friend I’ve ever had – Will Smith says he’ll continue to support Jada Pinkett

American actor Will Smith has said he would continue to support his wife, Jada Pinkett, for “the rest of my life” despite the talk show host’s recent revelation that she and her husband have been separated for seven years.

Pinkett disclosed in a clip from her forthcoming NBC News primetime special with Hoda Kotb that she and her husband have been living separately since 2016.
However, speaking at a press briefing, Will said Jada is “the best friend I have ever had on this planet”, stressing that he would continue to support her.
He described their marriage as a “slappy public experiment in unconditional love.”
“Our union is a slappy public experiment in unconditional love. Can you love somebody forever, no matter what? Can you love somebody for the rest of your life even when you don’t remember them?
“Jada is the best friend I have ever had on this planet and I will support her for the rest of my life,” AfroNews quoted Will Smith as saying.
