 NDLEA destroys largest seizure of 1.6m kilograms illicit drugs seized in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo …Times have changed, we’re fully prepared to hold those who defy the law accountable, Marwa warns barons, traffickers The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has destroyed heaps of illicit drugs weighing about 1.6 million kilograms of assorted illicit substances seized across Lagos, Ogun and Oyo state, in what is till date the largest volume of seizures to be set ablaze at a time in the history of the Agency.  The public destruction of the illicit substances witnessed by representatives of government officials, traditional rulers, clergymen, other security agencies, international partners, NGOs and community leaders, among others, was conducted at an isolated location at Ipara, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ogun state on Saturday 12th April 2025. Singer Rema finally speaks on joining illuminati

Famous Nigerian musician, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has finally reacted to the viral rumours making the rounds that he recently joined illuminati.

Rema in a post on his official Instagram stories on Wednesday, denied connection with any secret society.

Addressing the Illuminati conspiracy theories, Rema urged his day 1 fan base known as Ravers to educate his new fans about his background and heritage.

While condemning the claims that his success is linked to supernatural forces, the singer described illuminati as diabolical shit, insisting that “Jesus is the king.”

He said: “Day 1 Ravers, help me educate the new Ravers that I have been on this bat shit for a long time. You all would have so much clarity if you easily Google where I’m from, what the key colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies of Benin every evening, etc.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
