 Four North Carolina utility workers were tragically killed when a dump truck driver drove through a stop sign and crashed into a crew of workers. This heartbreaking incident occurred at 1:23 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in Eden, North Carolina. According to reports, a City of Eden dump truck driven by 66-year-old Michael Vernon ran a stop sign at the intersection of Carroll and Church Street in Eden. After blowing through the intersection, Vernon struck 6 utility workers with Duke Energy who were working on power lines for Carolina Power and Signalization. The dump truck then struck an occupied bucket truck before going off the road into a ditch. Four of the utility workers were sadly pronounced deceased on the scene while 2 others were life-flighted to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Some VVIP fans of the Lockdown winner, Whitemoney have come out to say that the N37 million gifted to their favourite was fake.

Recall that it was reported that during the 31st birthday of Whitemoney, some VVIP fans came through to celebrate him in a special way with gifts and money.

The Whitemoney geng gifted their favorite a total of N40 million cash prize. In the post shared by a fan identified as @___Taurean___, a cheque of 37 million Naira and a 3 million Naira all-expense paid trip to Dubai cheque contributed by WMG Worldwide was given to the season 6 winner.

A year after the presentation of the gifts, some of the fans involved in the contribution of the supposed money have come out to say that the N37 million cheque presented to Whitemoney was fake.

According to her, fans were able to contribute N900K but had to work hand-in-hand with the vendor in order to hype the initial price of the money planned to contribute.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha.
