Allegations of Election Manipulation Surface as SDP Candidate Asserts Majority Votes in Kogi

In a post-voting interview, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, the SDP governorship candidate in Kogi, expressed confidence in securing victory, asserting, "It is clear that I have the majority." However, he raised concerns about alleged irregularities in Kogi central, specifically in Okene, Okehi, and Adavi.

Ajaka claimed that the original result sheet was missing in these areas, and he accused election officers of compiling results before the actual voting had commenced. "All the election officers in Adavi, Okene, and Okehi have compromised," he stated, urging the INEC chairman to intervene promptly to maintain the integrity of the electoral process.

Evidence of these allegations has been forwarded to the headquarters for investigation. The SDP candidate emphasized the need for swift action to prevent any tarnishing of INEC's reputation.
