 Republic of Congo holds presidential election, internet disruption reported Internet connectivity across the Republic of Congo was disrupted on Sunday as voters cast ballots in a presidential election, global internet watchdog NetBlocks said. Network data indicated a nation-scale disruption to internet access, the watchdog said on X. A similar near-total nationwide internet blackout was recorded during the country’s March 2021 presidential election, lasting about three days, according to NetBlocks. Polls opened at 6 am (0500GMT) in the country’s presidential election and will remain open until 6 pm (1700GMT). More than 2.6 million registered voters aged 18 and above are eligible to cast their ballots. Asisat Oshoala issues out strong warning to people who beg from her on social media

Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala has issued out strong warnings to people who flood her DMs to beg for money from her.

Oshoala noted that she receives barrage of messages from people especially those who always message her with excuses like their wives just gave birth or wedding expenses.

Speaking on how much she has been of help to people, Oshoala urged netizens to make use of their common sense and set their priorities right.

“While I enjoy having fun here, there are certain things that should be common sense.

“I help a lot of people here, but there are situations I won’t condone or support, such as ‘My Wife Just Gave Birth,’ ‘I Want To Have a Wedding,’ and so on. Use your common sense. Set your priorities right,” she wrote.
