 APC PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL PRESS STATEMENT ATIKU MUST EXPLAIN THE LEGAL AND FISCAL BASIS OF HIS PETROL SUBSIDY PROPOSAL At his press conference in Abuja on Friday, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar reiterated his proposed  “production subsidy” for locally refined petrol, which he said would reduce pump prices. He went further to ask President Bola Tinubu to slash the cost of diesel and petrol at the pump. That proposal raises important legal, fiscal and practical questions that he must answer. Section 205(1) of the Petroleum Industry Act 2021 provides that unrestricted free-market conditions shall determine wholesale and retail prices of petroleum products. The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, in a statement on Saturday, explained that it neither fixes pump prices nor issues administrative price templates, except where the statutory conditions for intervention are met. AY Makun, Mabel celebrates 15th wedding anniversary, 20 years of togetherness with heartfelt note

Nigerian actor, comedian, Ayodeji Richard Makun, better known as A.Y and wife, Mabel, celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary and 20 years of togetherness.

He made this known in a post on his Instagram page on Wedesday.

In the post, which has garnered attention, the comedian reminisced about their struggles, beautiful moments, and experiences that have shaped their love life.

He wrote, "It's been 20 amazing years of knowing each other, 15 years of marital hustle and bustle, occasional sweetness and bitterness, pains, and gains.

We thank God for the unconditional love and grace that has kept us standing and counting all these years of celebration.
In this our first 15-year anniversary. I wish us both more love, strength, patience, tolerance, and happiness to be able to celebrate many more 15-year anniversaries together. I LOVE YOU, #realmabelmakun
