 PRESS RELEASE OPERATION HADIN KAI FOILS MASS ABDUCTION ATTEMPT AT FGGC MONGUNO Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), in collaboration with personnel of the Nigeria Police Mobile Force (MOPOL), successfully foiled an attempted mass abduction by ISWAP terrorists at the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Monguno, at about 0130 hours (1:30 a.m.) on 19 July 2026. The FGGC facility is currently being utilized by the Borno State Government as temporary hostel accommodation for students of the Federal Polytechnic, Monguno. The terrorists reportedly gained access to the facility with the assistance of suspected collaborators in an attempt to abduct students. Alert security personnel immediately engaged the terrorists with coordinated and overwhelming firepower, effectively stalling their advance with Sector 3 Quick Reaction Force (QRF) immediately reinforcing the school. Chef Dammy invited by police for questioning over petition allegedly filed against her by her pastor; granted administrative bail

Chef Dammy was today November 23 invited for questioning by men of the Police AIG zone 17 in Akure, Ondo state following a petition allegedly filed against her by her pastor.

 

Confirming reports of her invitation, the spokesperson of AIG Zone 17, DSP Hakeem, said the police received a petition against Chef Dammy and she was invited by the police. He said Dammy honored the invitation this afternoon November 23 and was thererafter granted administrative bail after providing a surety.

‘’She is not inour custody. She was not detained'' he said
 
Recall that Chef Dammy came to limelight after she attempted to cook for 120 hours straight, days after Hilda Baci broke the Guinness World Record for the Longest Cooking Hours by an individual. Dammy who had the backing of her pastor and church members, later fell out with him. She went on to accuse him of threat to her life. The clergyman then filed a lawsuit against her, demanding that she retracts the threat to life allegation.
