 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Chef Dammy invited by police for questioning over petition allegedly filed against her by her pastor; granted administrative bail

Chef Dammy was today November 23 invited for questioning by men of the Police AIG zone 17 in Akure, Ondo state following a petition allegedly filed against her by her pastor.

 

Confirming reports of her invitation, the spokesperson of AIG Zone 17, DSP Hakeem, said the police received a petition against Chef Dammy and she was invited by the police. He said Dammy honored the invitation this afternoon November 23 and was thererafter granted administrative bail after providing a surety.

‘’She is not inour custody. She was not detained'' he said
 
Recall that Chef Dammy came to limelight after she attempted to cook for 120 hours straight, days after Hilda Baci broke the Guinness World Record for the Longest Cooking Hours by an individual. Dammy who had the backing of her pastor and church members, later fell out with him. She went on to accuse him of threat to her life. The clergyman then filed a lawsuit against her, demanding that she retracts the threat to life allegation.
