 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here.  Courts restrains organised labour from Nov 14 strike


National Industrial Court of Nigeria has issued an order of interim injunction restraining members of organised labour, including the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC), and their affiliates from proceeding with the planned strike scheduled to commence on November 14.


President of the court, Justice Benedict Kanyip, granted the order on Friday while ruling on an ex-parte application brought by the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) on behalf of the Federal Government.


Justice Kanyip said the order shall subsist pending the determination of the Motion on Notice for interlocutory injunctions filed by the Attorney General of the Federation.


Justice Kanyip said the court is empowered under sections Section 7(1) and 19(a) of the NICN Establishment Act, to hear such an ex-parte application and grant such an ex-parte order where a strike is threatened but yet to be commenced, as in this case.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
