 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. ‘Day I told my husband I don’t want to outshine him’ – Toyosi

Media personality and movie producer, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, has recounted her husband’s reaction when she opened up to him, saying that she doesn’t want to “outshine” him.
She said that being aware of her massive potential, she was bothered that she could outshine her actor husband but he encouraged her when she finally summoned the courage to open up to him about her worries.
She said her husband’s response “felt like an impartation,” stressing that he urged her to feel free to do exploits.
Mrs Etim-Effiong disclosed this in a lengthy Instagram post celebrating their wedding anniversary.
The content producer said “the burden was lifted” after her husband’s permission.
“I felt emboldened and encouraged. I had the full support of the most important person in my life and it was liberating! I began to make preparations to take flight. A little while later, I did. I took flight and I’m still ascending,” she wrote.
DAILY POST recalls that the couple got married on November 4, 2017. They welcomed their first child, a baby girl, in January 2019.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
