 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. FUT MINNA GETS NEW DVC AND PROMOTES 14 PROFESSORS.


Appointments and Promotions Committee of the Federal University of Technology FUT Minna Niger state has confirmed the appointment of Prof Abdullahi Mohammed as new Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics.

The appointment of Prof Abdullahi Mohammed is contained in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna by the university‘s spokeswoman, Lydia Legbo, after the confirmation from the committee.

According to her the confirmation was made at the committee‘s eighty seventh meeting held at the Senate Chamber, Main Campus of the university at Gidan Kwano, Minna.

She however explained that the appointment was sequel to the selection process of the University Senate that was selected during its four hundred and eightieth regular meeting of the University.

The statement further said that the new Deputy Vice Chancellor started at the University as Assistant lecturer and Rose to the rank of a professor of Civil Engineering.

Until his new appointment he was the Director, Academic Planning and Corporate member of Nigerian Society of Engineers and has published over fifty national and international journals in his career.

Also approved by the committee are the promotion of fourteen new professors and nineteen associate professors of Federal University of Technology Minna.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
