 Republic of Congo holds presidential election, internet disruption reported Internet connectivity across the Republic of Congo was disrupted on Sunday as voters cast ballots in a presidential election, global internet watchdog NetBlocks said. Network data indicated a nation-scale disruption to internet access, the watchdog said on X. A similar near-total nationwide internet blackout was recorded during the country’s March 2021 presidential election, lasting about three days, according to NetBlocks. Polls opened at 6 am (0500GMT) in the country’s presidential election and will remain open until 6 pm (1700GMT). I used to earn N15K salary, sold bedbug killers before fame – Brain Jotter

Famous Nigerian skit maker, Brain Jotter, opens up about his humble beginnings, and how he earned a stipend salary while doing menial jobs.

During a conversation with Big Brother Naija star Kim Oprah, Brain Jotter disclosed that he used to sell bedbug killers.

Before gaining admission to the University of Lagos in 2020, he worked as a laundry employee to make ends meet, earning a N15,000 salary at the time.

The following year, when he transitioned to selling bedbug killers, his income doubled to N30,000, marking the highest amount he earned before his skits gained widespread popularity.

His grass-to-grace story has since sparked inspirational reactions from social media users who applauded his consistency over the years.
