I WAS NOT A SECONDARY SCHOOL BULLY- BEAUTY TUKURA. (PHOTO).

I was not a secondary school bully ā€“ Beauty Tukura

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Beauty Tukura has been accused of bullying by her alleged secondary schoolmate, Ruby.
Earlier in November, an X user simply identified as Ruby, accused Beauty of ā€œputting girls through hellā€ in secondary school.
Ruby said she was ā€œbullied to the extent that I attempted suicideā€ and that she had to ā€œdeal with depression.ā€
She wrote on X: ā€œBeauty Tukura put a lot of girls through hell in secondary school. When she was disqualified from BBNaija, we threw a party.
ā€œDo you know how horrible you have to be for people to come together and celebrate your downfall?
ā€œI was battling abuse at home. Then I went to boarding school and had to deal with constantly being bullied.
ā€œI was bullied to the extent that I attempted suicide. Recovered and came back to school, still got picked on for being depressed.ā€
However, in a statement shared via Instagram on Tuesday, November 22, Beauty refuted Rubyā€™s claims, adding that she is ā€œagainst any form of bullyingā€.
The statement said an investigation was conducted to determine whether Ruby attended the secondary school where Beauty graduated from.
According to the statement, it was discovered that there was ā€œno recordā€ to prove that the X user ever attended the institution.
Beautyā€™s agency described the allegations as ā€œmalicious, baseless and completely lacking in truth.ā€
The statement read in part: ā€œThis accusation was profoundly surprising to our client, who maintains a firm stance against any form of bullying.
ā€œConsequently, in addressing the matter, we conducted a thorough investigation and verification with Our Clientā€™s Alma mater, the American University of Nigeria Academy (AUN Academy) Adamawa State, Nigeria.
ā€œTo confirm whether or not Ruby Deborah Batubo was indeed a student. Upon conclusion of our investigation, it was discovered that there is no record of Ruby Deborah Batubo ever attending the aforementioned institution.
ā€œWhilst we appreciate and recognise the commitment to oppose bullying and the courage to expose wrongdoers, whether from the past or present.
ā€œIt is regrettable that Ruby Deborah Batubo has chosen to engage in defamatory actions against Our Client. This was aimed at tarnishing her well-deserved reputation and successful career.
ā€œWe emphasize that these allegations against Our Client are not only malicious but also unequivocally baseless, completely lacking in truth, and, at best, mere products of Ruby Deborah Batuboā€™s imagination.
ā€œAs a law-abiding citizen who believes in due process, we affirm her unwavering commitment to rectifying this egregious situation and seeking due redress through all possible lawful channels.ā€
