 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Kaduna Governor Assures Of Corps Members' Safety

Kaduna State Government has pledged to continue supporting and encouraging Corps Members by fulfilling it's obligations to the scheme.

Governor Uba Sani stated this at the opening and swearing in ceremony of the twenty twenty three Batch B stream 11 orientation course held at the NYSC Temporary Camp in Kaduna.

The Governor who was represented by the Special Adviser on Revenue Matter, Alhaji Umar Waziri said his administration would ensure maximum safety and security of Corps Members during their service year.

He called on them to live up to their responsibilities in their service to the nation, while urging them to take advantage of various skills acquisition programs organised by the government to better themselves.

The State Coordinator, Mr Hassan Taura in a remark, thanked the Governor for his support and cooperation to the scheme and he added that at the end of registration, one thousand four hundred and one prospective Corps Members were registered.
