 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. MAN SHARES HOW HE GOT BLOCKED BY VENDOR AFTER HE ADVISED HER TO RETURN ALMOST 2 MILLION SHE FOUND IN OKRIKA BALE OF CLOTHES. (PHOTO)

A man has shared how he got blocked by Okrika vendor after he advised her to return the huge amount of money she found in a bale of clothes she ordered.

The man who is a US consultant for admission took to his Twitter account, @UncleCCA, to narrate how he advised her to do the right thing.

According to him, she is his friend’s sister and a vendor for Okrika (thrifted) wears.

In a recent bale of clothes she ordered, she found $1850, to which the Naira equivalent is around 1.5 Million Naira.

He advised her to then return it as a child of God but now he can no longer see her WhatsApp status to which he asked his followers what is happening.

In his words;

“My friend’s sister who sells Okirika, just found $1850 in the bail of Okirika she bought.

I asked her to return the money to the owner. As a child of God, you’re to return it.

I can longer see her WhatsApp status anymore and my messages are no longer delivering.

What happened?”
