 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Mr Macaroni Bags Honourary Degree From Oyo Varsity


Nigerian comedian and actor, Adebowale Adedayo, aka Mr. Macaroni, was awarded a degree of Doctor of Creative Writing at the Precious Cornerstone University in Ibadan, Oyo State.


This was done at the institution's 2nd Convocation Ceremony for Awards of Degrees and Prizes on Saturday, November 11.


The skit-maker revealed this in photos shared on his X handle on Saturday.


His caption read, "I am deeply honored to be considered worthy at the discretion of the Senate and Council of The Precious Corner Stone University Ibadan to be deemed deserving of public recognition and award of the prestigious degree of DOCTOR OF CREATIVE WRITING (HONORIS CAUSA).
