 Legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies at 87: ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’ director breathes his last in Mumbai Manoj Kumar, the Bollywood actor and filmmaker, renowned for his patriotic films, passed away at the age of 87 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of his death was identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, according to medical reports. The medical reports confirmed that apart from a severe heart attack that took away his life, Manoj had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis for the past few months, ANI reported. Following deteriorating health condition, he was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025. Popularly known as ‘Bharat Kumar,’ Manoj Kumar was an exceptional director and actor who was honoured with National Film Award. NSCDC LAGOS STATE COMMAND RESTATES COMMITMENT TOWARDS ANTIVANDALISM OF OIL PIPELINES AND OTHER ASSETS AND INFRASTRUCTURE, PARTICIPATES IN OPERATION SECURED LINE TO PROTECT NNPC PIPELINES.


In a bid, to further restate its commitment towards fighting vandalism of oil pipelines and other critical national assets and infrastructure and end all forms, of economic sabotage in the country, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command has once again demonstrated, its unwavering integrity, by its tangible and resourceful presence, aimed, at participating in the clearance operation, of the Armed Forces code named, "Operation Secured Line," which covers some corridors of Lagos and Ogun state, respectively. 

The NSCDC, Lagos State Commandant, Commandant of Corps Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, MFR, fdc was ably, represented, by Assistant Commandant of Corps Abdullahi Jubril Musa, Head of Antivandal Unit, at the aforementioned, operation, which was flagged off, today, Friday, 10th November, 2023, by Rear Admiral Mustapha Bala Hassan, the Flag Officer Commanding, Western Naval Command. Security Agencies and stakeholders present at the Flag off were the NSCDC, the Nigerian Army, Navy, Airforce, the Department of State Security, the Nigeria Police Force, and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Officials.
