 El-Rufai’s Family Protests SSS Detention, Alleges Torture, Medical Neglect Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has continued to face controversy over his detention, as members of his family and supporters staged a protest in Abuja on Monday over his custody by the State Security Service (SSS). The demonstrators, which included Senator Lawal Adamu and close relatives of the former governor, accused security authorities of subjecting him to psychological pressure and denying him access to medical care despite existing court directives. Speaking outside the SSS facility, El-Rufai’s second wife, Asia, said the family had been living under fear due to what she described as persistent surveillance and security intimidation connected to the case. “People are nice when they want to borrow money but when it’s time to pay back they turn to a different person” – Basketmouth’s ex wife, Elsie Okpocha

Basket mouth estranged wife Elsie okpocha has in a recent video came for debtors who were unapologetic about it.

She slammed people who would owe other people with intentionality. In her video she revealed that it was a very bad thing to owe people and that most debtors would approach their target in a very nice and polite way to ask for the money and when they’ve gotten it, they become mean and very reluctant to pay back the money.

She went on to express that it was one thing for a person to be broke and not have the funds to pay back a money borrowed, and that it was anther thing for the person to have the funds and just decide not to pay. She even cited an example of some people who would rather spend their money on expensive things than actually paying back the money they owe.

She also expressed that for some debtors, they were so unapologetic about the money they were owing, that they would even come back to borrow more money on top of the one they’re already owing. Their excuse would be that they would pay all the money together. She cautioned people against that, revealing that those type of people are the type that people pray that thunder will fire.

Now recall that back in 2022, Elsie Okpocha and her popular comedian husband, Basket mouth had gone their separate ways following irreconcilable differences. An old video had also come out during that time where they both stated that divorce was never ever an option in their marriage.

Also in more recent times, Elsie had spoken out about marriage stating that it was as beautiful as it was also tough hinting at the fact that people should be prepared before embarking on it.

Recall that some months back, she had reached out to AY and Mabel Makun following a fire gutting down their house in Lagos. She had empathized with them and rendered her condolences for their loss.
