 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways. Riots in Dublin tonight 

Three young children are among five people injured after a stabbing attack outside a school in Dublin city centre.

Police said the three children, a man and a woman were taken to hospitals around Dublin shortly after 1.30pm.

One of the children, a five-year-old girl, and a woman in her 30s are being treated for serious injuries.

Parnell Square is now seeing rioting, buses & trams being set alight and shops being looted.
