 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. Sammie Okposo's Wife Remembers Singer One Year After Death


Ozioma, wife of the late gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo, marked the death anniversary of her husband one year after his death.


Posting pictures of herself and the late singer on her Instagram page on Saturday, Ozioma wrote, "Sammie!!! Dim oma!!!! hmmmmm 😢❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. It's been a whole year without you here, my love😢. I'm doing better, family and friends have been amazing too, and His grace is working for me. 


"I will always celebrate and cherish the memories we made together😘❤️


"I celebrate you today and always, I celebrate the gift that you were to me, the world and the body of Christ🙏. Keep resting, my King! Dim oma!, the Legend!, the Maestro!!!

The gospel singer, Sammie Okposo, died on November 25, 2022 at the age of 51.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
