THE LEADERSHIP OF IJAW YOUTH COUNCIL (IYC) WORLDWIDE AND
EASTERN ZONE INAUGURATES ANCIENT KOKO AMA SPECIAL AREA OF IJAW YOUTH COUNCIL IN PORT HARCOURT
It was a remarkable day in Ancient Koko Ama Kingdom yesterday as the the National President of Ijaw Youth Council, Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr ably represented by the Deputy National President and the Eastern Zonal Chairman, Hon Tamuno Kpokpo inaugurated Ancient Koko Ama Kingdom special area of IYC in Port Harcourt.
The official inauguration was done by the National President ably represented by the Deputy National President, the Special Area Executives were also inaugurated as the Deputy National President administered oath of office to them.
The Deputy President in his speech advised the newly elected executives of Ancient Koko Ama Kingdom special Area to carry the youths of Koko Ama along and always work in synergy with the leadership of IYC in the zone.
Meanwhile, the Zonal Chairman of IYC Eastern Zone, Hon Tamuno Kpokpo in his speech Thanked the King of Ancient Koko Ama Kingdom, HRM King Frank Iritamunoke Hezekiah Koko Jp, Opu-Chiri IV for always supporting the things that will bring development to Ijaw nation and also ensuring that the inauguration of Koko Ama Kingdom special Area is been done successfully. The Zonal Chairman pledged to work in synergy with the leadership of IYC in Koko Ama Kingdom.
Hon Tamuno Kpokpo also used that medium to acknowledge Alhaji Mujaheed Asari-Dokubo, King Michael Ateke Tom, General Alali Horsfal and other founding fathers and past leaders of the Council for their commitment, love, and patriotism in ensuring that Ijaw nation is been emancipated.
The King of Ancient Koko Ama Kingdom, HRM King Frank Iritamunoke Hezekiah Koko Jp, Opu-Chiri IV in his speech thanked the National President of Council ably represented by the Deputy National President and the Eastern Zonal Chairman of IYC for inaugurating a Special Area in his Kingdom. He expressed optimism and promised to always work in synergy with the leadership of IYC in the zone and at the National level. The King also postulate that he really admire the leadership style of the Zonal Chairman.
The event was graced by people from all works of life and it was indeed a great day in Ancient Koko Ama Kingdom of Port Harcourt.
