 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. WE'LL FOCUS MORE ON LINK ROADS IN 2024 – WORKS COMMISSIONER


Ogun State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ade Akinsanya has assured that the ministry will embark more on the construction of state link roads in 2024 in response to the directive of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.

 Engr. Akinsanya stated this while speaking at the Treasury Board Meeting on Year 2024-2026 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and the 2024 Budget, held at Obas' Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

The Commissioner said the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has directed his Ministry to focus on the roads that connected the State to neighbouring Lagos and other States, listing such roads as Ota, Ijoko, Lanbe, Akute, Lafenwa, among others, adding that all ongoing road projects in the three senatorial districts, as well as the Agro Cargo Airport, Isiun- Owode road, Sagamu/Iperu to Sapaade and Atan, Lusada, Agbara, roads would be deliver in due course.

The Commissioner assured the citizens that their expectations of good roads would be met, adding that proper budget consideration has been made for provision of standard road infrastructure by the State Government.

Engr. Akinsanya stated that all the 20 Local Government Chairmen have been directed to submit the list of some roads to be rehabilitated in their various Councils, to ensure no council is left out on the provision of road infrastructure.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
