  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. Why female fans don’t stop being obsessed with married male celebrities – Skales

Popular singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known as Skales, said gone are those days when female fans tame their obsessions with male celebrities after their marriage.

The married singer said nowadays ladies use how married male celebrities treat their wives as a yardstick for their obsession with them.

He claimed most women prefer “bad boys” and no longer care if a celebrity is married.

The ‘Shake Body’ crooner spoke in a recent podcast interview with Echoo Room.

The host asked: “I have noticed this about male celebrities, once they get married there is this notion that they are not as attractive or available as before and so most female fans tend to stop supporting them. What do you think?”

Skales responded: “I think that is old school. There are a lot of married people that are doing great in the entertainment industry. I don’t think it’s about the marriage anymore. Now it’s about how the married celebrity is treating his woman. If he’s treating her well, ladies are going to appreciate him even more.

“I believe females in a way like bad boys. And all the females I know like bad boys. All the females that are my friends, they’re very calm but they like bad things. Bad boy does not necessarily mean he’s stressing you out. Bad boy is a guy who gat game. I’m still a bad boy despite being married.”

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
