 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Why I became ‘enemy’ to Mohbad’s father – Late singer’s wife, Omowunmi

Omowunmi Aloba, the wife of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, has revealed why she became estranged from her father-in-law.

She explained that Mohbad’s father believed that she was driving a wedge between him and Mohbad, which led to their strained relationship.

Testifying before the Lagos croner inquest on Tuesday, Omowunmi revealed that her relationship with her father-in-law, Oladimeji Aloba, deteriorated after the birth of her son, Liam.

She told the coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, that Mohbad’s father became upset with her because Mohbad decided not to hold Liam’s naming ceremony in Ikorodu.

She said, “I used to have a very good relationship with my father-in-law before the birth of my son, Liam. In fact, I used to invite him to our house on many occasions.

“But because Mohbad was angry with him over some of the things he was doing and his refusal to hold our son’s naming ceremony in Ikorodu, he became angry with me, thinking I was the one behind it all.

“So he became my enemy and was not talking to me like before.”
