 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. You are the reason SlimCase and I don’t have houses on Lagos Island, he is a very greedy person”- Mr Real calls out former friend, Idowest.


Singer Mr. Real has taken a swipe at his former friend, Idowest, who he accused of backstabbing him and Slimcase in the past.


In a video he shared on Instagram, Mr Real claimed that Idowest passed off a song they did together out of love as his. He further revealed that after the song became a hit, Dammy Krane approached Idowest and tried signing him thinking he was the owner of the song.


However, upon realizing that Idowest is not the owner of the song, DammyKrane passed Idowest on to Davido’s 30BG.


Mr Real further revealed that he was able to prove that he was the owner of the song by shooting a video for it. He also alleged that Idowest did same thing to Slimcase and pushed him off a project.


He further accused Idowest of being a “thief” and a “proud” person who is putting up a fake life on social media. Asides claiming that Idowest can’t go back to the neighbourhood he grew up in because of things he allegedly did, he also accused his former friend of making them lose so many deals created specifically for them because he felt it’s beneath him.


Mr Real added that Karma is catching up with Idowest and he has to apologize to be free from the challenges he is facing.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
