 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. “Your husband should grab you quickly’ – Onanuga slams Alisha Yesufu over attack on Tinubu


Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information & Strategy, has slammed Aisha Yesufu over her attack on his principal.


Yesufu, a supporter of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, recently faulted how President Bola Tinubu is handling the country.


She wrote in her X handle on Thursday, “There will always be a difference between Commander-in-Chief and Certificate forger-in-Chief.”

But, in reacting to Yesufu’s post, Onanuga said she is becoming uncontrollable.


“I really pity this lady for becoming so uncontrollable. The husband should grab her quickly. She needs attention”, Onanuga said in a post on his official X handle on Friday.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
