 FG reaffirms commitment to North-East inclusion in Agro-Industrial Project amid exclusion claims The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has dismissed concerns raised by the North-East Caucus of the National Assembly regarding the alleged exclusion of the region from the Federal Government's flagship agricultural initiative the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) program. The minister of agriculture and food security Sen. Abubakar Kyari made the clarification over the weekend while briefing the media. He noted that the North-East is not only included in the SAPZ program, but that several states from the region have already met the eligibility criteria for the second phase of the project. The response comes on the heels of public criticisms sparked by the recent groundbreaking ceremonies in Kaduna and Cross River states. 100 Level NSUK Student C^omm!ts S^u!c!de Over Failed Relationship

A 100-level female student at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has reportedly taken her own life.

Trendygists gathered that the undergraduate student identified as Sarah Redemption was a student of Microbiology before the unfortunate incident.

The incident unfolded when the young student reportedly ingested an unknown poisonous substance, leading to the irreversible loss of her life.

Fellow students at the university rushed to her aid, attempting to neutralize the poison and stabilize her with palm oil, but their efforts proved futile.

At this time, the motive behind the distressing decision to end her life remains shrouded in mystery but sources alleged that she took her life because of a failed relationship with a young man.

A source identified as Bigbosco Wisdom said, “NSUK 100 level from department of microbiology commit suicide yesterday because of relationship issue.”

He further revealed that, “the remains of saratu redemption now leaves for her home town for burial”

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
