 PRESS RELEASE MINISTER OF INFORMATION LEADS HEADS OF AGENCIES TO BROADCASTERS CONFERENCE IN LAS VEGAS In an effort to strengthen broadcast collaborations and form strategic alliances, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris fnipr, has led a delegation of heads of government agencies to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference and Workshop in Las Vegas, USA. The NAB event, running from April 5 to 9, carries the theme “The Technology, The Trend, The Future” and will cover a range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud visualization, the creator economy, and sports production and streaming. Actress Bisola Badmus celebrates birthday after battle with Encephalopathy

Popular actress Bisola Badmus has thanked God for making her celebrate another birthday despite battling with Encephalopathy for over a year. 
The star actress in a lengthy birthday note, stated that she couldn’t wish her enemy such an illness as it was a tough one.
She noted how she also lost her mother this year, making life even harder for her, which led to her absence from social media for a while.
Expressing gratitude to her creator, she noted how he is unquestionable as she also appreciated her colleagues, business associates and for standing by her.
“Thank you, Lord, for another amazing year to celebrate my new age in sound health. Over a year now I have been battling with health issues. Hmmm(Encephalopathy ) I can’t even wish my enemy such illness
It was a tough one indeed, a tough one
That made me stay off social media for a long while now
In btw I lost my previous mother. Unquestionable God, I thank you for everything particularly for me to witness yet another birthday of mine…I say thank you for keeping me alive till this moment bcos if not for God Almighty where would I have been ni tooto olohun ni OBASETANMAKUSIBIKAN

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
