 RE: ALLEGED IMPOSITION OF PEACE AGREEMENTS ON COMMUNITIES IN BOKKOS LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA BY MILITARY AUTHORITIES The attention of Operation SAFE HAVEN has been drawn to a statement credited to Bokkos Cultural Development Council (BCDC) Vanguards alleging that there is ongoing imposition of peace agreements on communities in Bokkos LGA by military authorities.  The allegations which pointed out that there are purported peace agreements brokered by Sector 5 of Operation SAFE HAVEN between the various ethnic groups in Butura Kampani, Chikam, Kunet and neighbouring communities is in furtherance of the group’s desperate efforts to remain relevant while discrediting the ongoing efforts of security agencies to foster peaceful coexistence among the residents of the Joint Operations Area.  Aiyedatiwa Appoints First Five Aides As Ondo Governor

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed five aides barely a few hours after taking the oath of office.

The announcement was made in a statement on Wednesday by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Omojuwa Olusegun.

According to the statement, Aiyedatiwa appointed a seasoned journalist, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, as his Chief Press Secretary and Sunday Abire as Special Assistant on New Media.

Ebenezer Adeniyan was, until his new appointment, Publisher of Trace News magazine.

Others were Abire Sunday, Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Smart Omodunbi, Special Assistant on Political Matters, Monturayo Oyedele, Special Assistant on Photography and Temitayo Iperepolu, Special Assistant on Domestic and Government House.

The first set of appointments takes immediate effect.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
