 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. ALFADARAI ATTENDS 17TH ANNUAL TOWN HALL MEETING OF LAGOS STATE SECURITY TRUST FUND.


The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, Commandant of Corps Usman Ishaq Alfadarai MFR, fdc, mnim, mpa, fisn, fcss attended, the 17th annual town hall meeting of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund ( LSSTF ), yesterday, Tuesday, 12th December, 2023, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo - Olu was present at the meeting amidst other disguised guests such as the Minister of State Police Affairs, Chairman of the Board of LSSTF, Executives, service commanders of federal services, heads of security formations in the state, cooperate institutions and well meaning Nigerians, who identified with the Fund in a bid to pledge both their financial commitment and intellectual expertise towards a safer Lagos.
