 Group demands declaration of Aba North Assembly seat vacant, threatens protest A group known as the Coalition of Aba North Ethnic Youth Groups has mandated the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Emmanuel Emereuwa to declare the Aba North seat vacant in seven days. The Aba North seat has been a subject of controversy since November 27, 2023, when the Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos sacked Destiny Nwagwu of LP and declared Aaron Uzodike of the PDP, the duly elected member to represent Aba North. However, the seat has remained unoccupied since November 2023, as Uzodike of PDP has not been inaugurated by the Speaker, despite his several appeals. A fresh controversy erupted Friday, as the Coalition of Aba North Ethnic Youths Groups, asked the Speaker to declare the seat vacant within seven days or expect a city-wide protest in Aba. ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT HAS NOT DEPLOYED BUSES FOR CHRISTMAS TRAVELLERS


Anambra State Government wishes to alert all Ndi-Anambra that the viral voice note claiming that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, has deployed "Hummer" and "Luxurious" buses on the road for our people travelling to and from Lagos is *Not True.* 

In a bid to entice the unsuspecting public to patronize these buses, the voice note claims that the bus fares are N10,000 and N12,000 respectively.

The public should note that these are fraudsters looking for people to dupe and/or abduct. 

Our people are advised to shun the evil buses and their mouth watering fares. It is a Greek gift contrived to lure people to danger.

Governor Soludo is committed to ensuring a peaceful and fun-filled Season. Government has therefore briefed security agencies to be on the lookout for these fake transporters.

 Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
