 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT HAS NOT DEPLOYED BUSES FOR CHRISTMAS TRAVELLERS


Anambra State Government wishes to alert all Ndi-Anambra that the viral voice note claiming that Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, has deployed "Hummer" and "Luxurious" buses on the road for our people travelling to and from Lagos is *Not True.* 

In a bid to entice the unsuspecting public to patronize these buses, the voice note claims that the bus fares are N10,000 and N12,000 respectively.

The public should note that these are fraudsters looking for people to dupe and/or abduct. 

Our people are advised to shun the evil buses and their mouth watering fares. It is a Greek gift contrived to lure people to danger.

Governor Soludo is committed to ensuring a peaceful and fun-filled Season. Government has therefore briefed security agencies to be on the lookout for these fake transporters.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
