 2027: BENUE GOVT TELLS APPOINTEES, DECLARE NOW OR STEP ASIDE 17th December, 2025   The Benue State Government has directed all political appointees seeking to contest elective offices to formally declare their intentions and tender their resignation letters. In a statement issued from the Office of the Deputy Governor, the directive follows the surge in political activities and growing expressions of interest in elective positions across the state. According to the notice, affected appointees are required to submit written expressions of interest for their preferred offices, alongside formal resignation letters, to the Office of the Deputy Governor on or before Thursday, December 18, 2025. The submissions will be transmitted to Governor Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormen Alia for further consideration and necessary action. Reality star, Angel Smith, has deactivated her X app over the comparison that she looks like a crossbreed of James Brown and Hilda Baci.

A troll with the X handle, Pharoah Elroy, kicked Angel off the platform with his comment.

Angel took to Twitter to share videos and photos from her most recent hangout with her boyfriend Soma.

However, after she shared the videos on her X page, a troll described her as a cross between crossdresser James Brown and Chef Hilda Baci.

The troll’s comment appears to have taken its toll on the reality star, as she deactivated her Twitter account.

The troll wrote: “You look like a crossbreed of James Brown and Hilda Baci.”
