 A Tennessee woman had to have her leg amputated after being attacked by her own dog. This terrifying incident occurred in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee home of 42-year-old Amanda Mears.  On the evening of December 10th, Amanda was preparing to take her dog, a Pit Bull/ American Staffordshire mix, named "Dennis" out for a walk.  As the two were making their way to the door, Amanda's other dog Ralphie, an American Bully, escaped from the room she was keeping him in.  In the blink of an eye, a vicious dog fight erupted. Amanda, who fosters dogs that have been abandoned, is no stranger to dog fights and jumped between the battling dogs in an attempt to stop the fight.  However, this turned out to not be your typical situation. Bus driver crushes 3 police officers to death in Lagos

A reckless driver of a Rapid Bus Transit (BRT) bus has crushed three police officers to death in Lagos.


The three officers, News Express learnt, were on duty mid-week in the Abule-Egba area of Lagos Mainland when the BRT driver deliberately drove into them, killing them instantly and escaping from the scene.


The victims, whose names could not be immediately ascertained, were an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) and two Police Inspectors. 


A post on the incident on a WhatsApp group of police officers and stakeholders reads: “BRT bus crushes Police ASP two Inspectors to death at Abule-Egba, escapes…please repost until the driver is arrested.”


Accompanying the message is a photo of the scene of the tragedy, where the crushed bodies of the police officers could be seen on the road, with their blood splattered on the road. News Express is unable to publish the gory photo due to our policy of not publishing dead bodies.


A source who spoke on the tragic incident described it as a shocking way to welcome the new Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, who assumed duty during the week.


“It is a challenge to the new CP, and we are eagerly waiting to see what he will do. His first assignment is to apprehend and bring the killer driver to justice,” the source told News Express.


The Lagos State Police Command was yet to issue a statement on the incident as at the time of this report.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
