Celebrities pray as actor Zack Orji reportedly slumps, lands in hospital



Prayers from celebrities and netizens have started to pour in for a veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji after a video of him in the hospital went viral on Sunday.


According to his friends who reached out to Linda Ikejiā€™s blog, the actor was ā€œrushed to the hospital two days ago after he slumped in the toilet after being quite weak for a few weeks.ā€


The sources added that he was currently in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at The National Hospital in Abuja, adding that he cannot walk or talk, and all kinds of tests are being run on him to diagnose the ailment.


Reacting to the viral video on Instagram, prayers have begun to pour in from some of his colleagues in the entertainment industry among other netizens.


Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo wrote, ā€œGod pls heal him. Amen. šŸ™šŸ½ā€


Another actress, Shan George, commented, ā€œPrayers up sir šŸ˜¢šŸ™Œā€


Comedian and actor, Woli Arole, also commented, ā€œGodā€™s mercies in Jesus name.ā€


Actress, Joyce Kalu, wrote, ā€œI cover him with the blood šŸ©ø of Jesus.ā€


One officialsalma_v wrote, ā€œDear Lord do not make us mourn over Zack orji in the name of Jesus. Father please heal him and grant him sound health in Jesus name šŸ™ā€


Kingstudiio also commented, ā€œEh God! Please keep our veterans safe and healthy.ā€


Popular actor, John Okafor, better known as Mr. Ibu is also in the hospital, having undergone a leg amputation due to an illness.


Previous reports in October indicated that Mr. Ibu successfully underwent five surgeries and was scheduled to be flown abroad for further treatment.


Nollywood actor, Amaechi Muonagor, was also reported in November to be battling with kidney disease, diabetes, and stroke.


His cousin, Tony Muonagor, revealed this stating that the actor is undergoing weekly dialysis and other treatments at the Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. ā€œThe Appellant was set up.
