 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower.  FG Lists 20 New Motor Parks For 50% Transport Fares Cut


The Federal Government has released a list of where Nigerians can avail themselves of a 50 per cent discount on transport fares for return trips during the festive season. 


This was announced by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Temitope Ajayi, on his X account on Friday. 


He wrote, “YULETIDE SUBSIDY: The Federal Government has listed more motor parks where Nigerians can enjoy 50% rebate on transport fare for return trips during the festive season. 

1. Lagos – Join from Oshodi Terminal 3

2. Abuja – Join from Jabi Park

3. Onitsha – Join from Umugo Park (Port Harcourt Road)

4. Aba – Join from Abia Polytechnic, Aba

5. Kano – Join from Balmary Park, Ring Road/Maiduguri Bypass, Hotoro

About four days to Christmas Day, Tinubu  approved a 50 per cent transport fare cut by commercial buses on inter-state routes during the yuletide.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
