 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. FG Unveils New Foreign Policy


Federal Government has unveiled its Four D foreign policy document in Abuja.


At the launch, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar said the new foreign policy document was aimed at showcasing the values and interests of Nigeria.


Ambassador Tuggar said the four Ds foreign policy document which centered on Democracy, Development, Demography and Diaspora were aimed at enhancing good governance and improving the living standard of the people through development.


He explained that the Four Ds foreign policy direction of the Tinubu-led government would take advantage of the nation’s population as well as the Africa Continental Free Trade Area to enhance economic development in the country.


The Minister of Foreign Affairs said the policy would also look into the need to reform Nigeria’s engagement with international financial institutions for the benefit if all.
