 PRESS RELEASE FCT POLICE BUST CAR THEFT SYNDICATE, RECOVER TWO STOLEN VEHICLES, AND ARREST THREE SUSPECTS. …as suspects confess to refurbishing and reselling stolen vehicles as newer models On April 11, 2025, following a distress call received by Durumi Division regarding the theft of a Toyota Corolla, 2005 model, gold in colour, with registration number KUJ 208 DA, stolen from the owner’s residence, operatives of the Division immediately swung into action. The vehicle was tracked to a workshop in Durumi, where it was discovered undergoing illegal refurbishment. The colour was being altered in an attempt to evade detection and facilitate a quick resale. A further search of the premises led to the recovery of another suspected stolen vehicle—a red Toyota Corolla with registration number GWA 844 CK—previously reported stolen from a residence in Jikwoyi. I had crush on Emeka Ike – Actress Ebube Nwagbo

Popular Nollywood actor Ebube Nwagbo has revealed that she had a crush on veteran colleague Emeka Ike.

She, however, said she never got the opportunity to express her feelings for him.

The actress said she was excited about Emeka Ike’s return to cinema with Toyin Abraham’s latest film ‘Malaika.’

“I had a crush on Emeka Ike but wasn’t given the opportunity to express my feelings,” she told QEDNG on the red carpet of the movie premiere held recently at Imax Cinema in Lagos.

Nwagbo explained that Ike had been off-screen for a while, and she could not wait to see his performance in the film.
