 Senator Sunday Karimi has raised concerns over the growing incidence of kidnapping and banditry in Kogi State, describing abductions as a daily occurrence in the state. Karimi made the remarks on Wednesday during plenary while contributing to a motion of urgent public importance sponsored by Senator Abdulfatai Buhari on the recent abduction of schoolchildren and teachers in Ogbomoso. The lawmaker said kidnapping and banditry have become major security challenges threatening the stability of the country, stressing that responsibility for addressing the menace should not rest solely on the Federal Government. According to him, bandits invaded Ayedun Bunu, a community in Kogi West Senatorial District, in the early hours of Monday and abducted 28 residents. I had crush on Emeka Ike – Actress Ebube Nwagbo

Popular Nollywood actor Ebube Nwagbo has revealed that she had a crush on veteran colleague Emeka Ike.

She, however, said she never got the opportunity to express her feelings for him.

The actress said she was excited about Emeka Ike’s return to cinema with Toyin Abraham’s latest film ‘Malaika.’

“I had a crush on Emeka Ike but wasn’t given the opportunity to express my feelings,” she told QEDNG on the red carpet of the movie premiere held recently at Imax Cinema in Lagos.

Nwagbo explained that Ike had been off-screen for a while, and she could not wait to see his performance in the film.
