 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Israel-Gaza war resumes; IDF blamed Hamas of violating ceasefire & shooting missles in southers area. 


The Israeli military says it has resumed combat operations against Hamas, accusing the militant group of violating the truce agreement by firing toward Israel.


The military's announcement came moments after a seven-day truce between Israel and Hamas for the release of civilian hostages expired with no indications the sides had agreed to extend the deal. 


Egyptian and Qatari negotiators were working to extend the temporary and uneasy truce for an additional two days, Egypt said. The current deal expired at 7 a.m. local time (midnight ET).


Eight more hostages were released from Gaza and 30 Palestinians were freed from Israeli jails.
