 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. 'It's meaningless' - Wizkid speaks on life after mother’s death


Grammy-winning music star Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has revealed that life has been meaningless to him since he lost his mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun.

The singer took to his Instagram story to express heartbreak over his mum’s death, revealing that since she died, life hasn’t returned to normalcy for him.

He noted how he made ‘IDK’, one of his latest songs, after his mother’s death because life to him is meaningless despite having four kids.

In another post, he stated that sometimes, one has to let everything go and work with God.

He wrote: “Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life’s been meaningless! But we dey!!

Sometimes u got to let everything go. Work with God!.”

Wizkid lost his mother in August 2023 and she was buried the following month.

Born on July 14, 1957, Jane is survived by her husband,, Muniru Olatunji Balogun, and four children.

Her children are Yetunde Balogun, Omolara Osunkoya, Olubusayo Balogun, and Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun.

Born in Surulere on July 16, 1990, Wizkid grew up in a polygamous home with a Muslim father and a Christian mother.

Last month, the multiple award-winning singer hinted that he is on a five-year hiatus from music.

The Afrobeats star stated that he would be taking four or five years off the music scene.

He added that he is considering taking up football or golf.

Writing in broken English, he wrote, “Back in 4 years, make una papa chop him money small or maybe five or I fit still go dey play ball now.

“Or make I start dey play golf. fifa or wrestling b*tch!”All of una dey craze! Everybody dey mad.

“On some G shit, I hope you mofuckas alright body mind and soul and taking time out to enjoy with your loved ones.”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
