 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. The President/CEO Security Watch Africa Initiatives, Mr Patrick Agwumba, presents Crime Reporters' Association of Nigeria "Initiative Award in NSCDC Image Making," to Deputy Superintendent of Corps Abolurin Oluwaseun, Public Relations Officer ( PRO ), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), Lagos State Command, for his eloquent, dogged, rugged and prolific and unrepentant strides, which affirm his selfless, sagacious, diligent and outstanding performances over the years, in his quest to professionally, project the image of the NSCDC at home and abroad in this generation.

He received, the award along side so many other distinguished and outstanding serving Generals, Senior Military, Police, Paramilitary officers, government and private sector officials, who have contributed, immensely, to the development of their organizations and Nigeria at large.

The Chairman of the occasion, Dr Solomon Arase, former Inspector - General of Police and Chairman Police Service Commission and other distinguished speakers and panelists are amongst those, who were present at the event, which held today, Thursday, 7th December, 2023, at the Providence Hotel, GRA, Ikeja.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
